It may look like a framework of wood!! It is and it represents much of the work that has been going on to remodel the upstairs of a French farmhouse into family accommodation.

All the photos in this album demonstarta varying progress parts to the whole process and each has a tale that could be told of such as gas tanks, boilers, holes in floors and ceilings, bathroom equipment but as yet neiher connections nor materials have materialised for the conjointational process to be developed!!!.

You've already met my mom (who is a pilot) and this is my dad. We flew to Santa Monica so I could go to my grandparent's house for a visit. I had a blast, especially when I figured out that when I talk on the headset, everyone has to hear me and wait for me to finish talking. That was the best part! Oh and watching Finding Nemo was great too.

The whole family went to Cape Hatteras one year for a sailboarding vacation. We were skunked and had no wind all week. At the end of the week we gave the kids a chance to choose one activity. Steph chose hang gliding lessons in the sand dunes. She broke one of the hang gliders during her lessons.

As we were leaving town she talked us into stopping at a local airport so she could do this tandem flight. The guy below her is an experienced hang glider and the other will tow them up to 10,000 feet in an ultralight aircraft and release them! She loved it.

-Stephanie suffers from car sickness. When she was little and we did a lot of long car or train trips I used to give her liquid gravol. One trip I had my hands full and asked her dad to dose her. Shortly into the trip Stephanie was talking my ear off so I turned to talk to her and her eyes were as big as saucers - mouth still going!@! Bob had misread the measurement and given a little much. She was hyper for about 5 hours of the trip before it wore off!

One day in Hornepayne Stephanie decided she was too big for me to spank anymore. I was after her for something and when she saw my hand coming she just sat down on the floor. She was right, I could not hold her up with one hand anymore to spank her with the other hand. I was thinking fast, especially since we had company at the time. I said, OK that now means I have permission to hit you wherever I can reach! She did not reply at the time but told me later she was quite worred about that and had decided maybe she should not have pushed me on it (-;

Stephanie was so appreciative of the support her older brother offered her as a teenager that she told me one day she decided to be the same kind of mentor for her younger brother while Jason was away at University. Based on history I was skeptical! She came up from the basement a few hours later and told me "Mom you will be happy to know that Matt is not into drugs or alcohol" I asked "how do you know that?" She replied: "I grabbed him by the shirt front, held him up against the wall then asked - are you into drugs or alcohol?" What would your reply be????

Stephanie volunteered as a swim instructor for a local association that worked with disabled youngsters. Whenever we would go wait to pick her up we would be the absolute last car in the parking lot, still waiting. When I gave up and went in to find her she would be in the changeroom, still in her bathing suit playing with the kids, helping the mothers get them dressed.

Stephanie loved sports. She tried them all and the main ones were swimming, downhill skiing, soccer, rugby. She was also into Dragon Boat racing for a bit.

-Stephanie's older brother was always bummed because many of his friends either became his friend to get close to Stephanie OR became close to Steph while being his friend!!! This very much applies to Matt Cobb also as he was Jason's friend when we lived in Barrie in the same neighbourhood.

(Side note: We moved from Barrie, to Hornepayne and then back down south to Bradford. Matt Cobb came by the house in Bradford one day with a gift for Stephanie - details may not be 100% but I think it was Valentines day - it was a large teddy bear. Stephanie was very very embarassed at the time but gave him back the teddy bear for Christmas last year!)

Animal Lover - 1st attempt

Stephanie was the animal lover of the house. We had a "crazy" rabbit that no one else would touch and she rescued it so many times I cannot count as well as helping me clean up behind it!!! The rabbits name was spot.

The Summer of my Discontent

It looked to be just another hot, humid summer in new york. This shot, taken at 10am, 7/2 on the Upper East Side of the East River and Roosevelt Island, shows the hazy beginnings of one of those days. How clear was it becoming that things just weren't going my way any longer, hadn't been going my way for some years now. Very clear. Everyday brought more clarity -- don't stay here.

Then, a way opened, and I walked through. Good bye for now, new york. So much I've learned, understood. Paradoxically, I began to feel more boxed in, more typecast, more immobile there than anywhere else (except perhaps London if I'd lived there for longer than a few weeks).

But, things change and one can benefit from changing with them. Escape from New York. That's that I've done -- for now. And off on a wild bus ride across country.

When my sister was 4 years old she discovered Bill Cosby's Picture Pages. Unfortunately Picture Pages was an interactive show, you had to have the book to follow along. Luckily she had plenty of time to send away for the upcoming "Learn to Read" series. Everyday she would wait patiently for the mail and listen to Bill Cosby instruct the other kids to take out their Pictures Pages. She learned to read, but not with the help of Bill Cosby...the Picture Pages never arrived.

After 20+ years of hearing how Bill Cosby let her down, I decided to make things right and get her the long overdue Picture Pages. Thanks to ebay I found them no problem.

I think she has finally forgiven Bill Cosby, she will even watch a Cosby Show rerun now and then.

I was soo happy that my mom finally let me jump off the top of the rocks on the day I turned 2. It was sooo much fun that I had to do it again and again. Even though my mom was not happy about it, I could tell she was enjoying the jumps. Next on my list is a backflip off the rocks!

If you ever have to wait more then 8 hours for a flight... THIS is the way to do it: Thai Airway Lounge at Bangkok Airport! Free food, drinks, internet, and couches so comfortable, they beat most of the beds in Cambodia.

Oh, and talking about service: I think we had more service in our 1 hour flight from Bangkok to Cambodia with Thai Airways, then 10 hours of flying with LTU...

The bottom line when taking pictures…do not delete until you are able to fully view the picture. When taking this picture I was focused on trying to get a good shot of Matt Leinart, the heartthrob quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. I was going to blow it up and use it to tease my sister who is a hardcore football fan and doesn’t believe you are a true fan if you are only there to gawk at the quarter back and show off your new pink Leinart jersey.

What I found when I got home and viewed my photos was that I did not end up with a photo of Matt’s dazzling smile, but ended up with a priceless action photo of Kurt Warner patting Bryant Johnson on the butt. Teasing my sister would have been fun, but I categorize this photo as priceless!

My First Crawl

This is the first time I was crawling on my own without falling down (I was 9 months old), but that's not the funny part of the story. The funny part is that my dad was so excited that I was crawling, he was following me around everywhere and every now and then this bright flash of light would come from his head. I had to stop and make sure he was OK.

History in the Making

Documenting Formula 1 history in the making: Priceless

I was lucky enough to be at the Canadian Grand Prix this year to witness rookie sensation Lewis Hamilton’s first pole and first win. It was wonderful to be so close to the podium and get some great pictures of the celebration.

Not only did Lewis make history as the first Black driver to win a Formula One race, he is the only driver to start his Formula 1 career with six straight podium finishes. (After Canada he went on to achieve 3 more podiums to make it nine straight!)

He is currently leading the Championship and on his way to making more history by being the first rookie World Champion.

After the race we received paddock passes from a friend that works for Team McLaren, I was busy snapping pictures of the behind the scenes action including Lewis celebrating his first win with the team, and seven time World Champion Michael Schumacher enjoying a cigar and glass of wine with brother (and current Toyota driver) Ralf. The weekend definitely resulted in many priceless photos and memories!

Finally, I Turned 21!

21 minutes that is. I was really excited because no-one had told me about the difference between minutes and hours yet and I just couldn't wait to be 21, but once I was 21 is when they broke it to me: at 21 minutes old, I was still only allowed to drink milk. Bummer! I had to cry.

This plog is going to be the story of my life in pictures. I was born 6 lbs, 2 oz and 19 inches tall and yeh, this is probably not my best pose, but trust me, I get a lot cuter as I get older.
